Takeover is how you get in and drive after a remote start without shutting the the vehicle shutting down.

You start it from the remote or the app. Enter the vehicle, and drive away.

 

The engine stays running. No restart. No waiting. No extra step in the cold.

 

A quick note on push-to-start vehicles:

Takeover is not available on every push-to-start. Some keep it with extra parts. Some don’t.
